The Best Save the Dates + More Great Stationery From Basic Invite
Hi friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their loved ones! I can not believe that April is almost over and we are in the thick of wedding season!
Speaking of weddings, I was recently approached by the online stationery company, Basic Invite, to feature some of their amazing products on the Amelia Catherine & Co. blog and of course I said yes! Let me first say they are anything but basic! ;)
So everyone knows the wedding invitation is the first impression you will have on your guests for the entire feel of your wedding day. And what comes before the invitation? The save-the-date of course!
Basic Invite has the best save-the-dates and tons of other great stationery products to choose from! Scroll down to learn more and receive a discount code for your next event or project!
I loved how easy Basic Invite’s website was to use and there were so many great design options, but I was instantly drawn to the watercolor effect of the “Antique Blooms” design. I then designed the rest of the invitation suite based on that particular save-the-date option. I chose the postcard option but they also have regular cards and magnets! With over 180 color options, several paper types, and foil too, the possibilities are endless!
The samples I ordered were a save-the-date postcard, invitation, accommodations card, directions card, response card, registry card, dinner menu, wedding favor coaster, belly band, and envelopes. I chose the luxe velvet paper and added rounded corners (which I’m a sucker for!). Everything shipped in just a few days and came neatly packaged with a brochure showing all the color options including foil and raised foil, which looks, and feels, amazing!
Because I ordered pretty much the entire invitation suite I decided to order one of their pocket folders! I’ve never seen these before and it made packaging all the individual cards together a breeze and elevated the entire suite.
Y’all know I love a good flat-lay so I took this opportunity to style my most intricate of flat-lays yet. I loved piecing all the different elements together with the invitation as the center focal point. Adding little touches of ribbon and greenery really tie it all together. Styling an invitation suite is one of my favorite things to do on a wedding day as it takes me back to my interior design college school days. And to me, these images are the perfect opening pages to a wedding album!
Now I want to be sure to reiterate how impressed I was, not only with the quality of paper, but also the ink! This stationery feels luxurious, the colors of the photos were spot on, and the text was clear and sharp. Super important factors to take into hand!
And one of my favorite features was the option to add a photo on the back of the invitation itself! Guests can easily frame it and have a piece of you in their home forever! And I thought the inverted rounded corners were the perfect finishing touch!
And to top it all off, most all of their wedding invitation suites have a matching FREE wedding website with tons of added features, they offer FREE envelope address printing (sweeeeeeeet!), and an array of coordinating products like stickers and guest books! Really wish I knew about Basic Invite when I got married 9 years ago!!
Huge thanks to Basic Invite for supporting this post! All opinions are my own! Head over to their site and use the code “15FF51” for 15% off your entire order!
