Mr. & Mrs. Thompson | A Rustic Meets Glam, Backyard Wedding in Jackson, Mississippi

What happens when a Mississippi boy meets an Alaskan girl while on location for the army? Sparks fly of course! I believe it was love at first sight for both of them and you’ll see why! Jessie and Logan were married October 23, 2021 at a friend’s home in Jackson, Mississippi. Jessie was a stunning bride in her Essence of Australia gown she found at Elle James Bridal. Logan was the most handsome and sweetest groom. While editing their photos I swear a few times I thought I had taken Justin Timberlake’s portrait! :D It was the most beautiful fall day and the bride and groom were surrounded by so much love and support. It was also evident how much these two love each other! One of my favorite moments from the day was after the ceremony when they took a moment to enjoy each other, admire their new bling, and read a hand written letter they wrote one another. Since Jessie’s beloved cats could not make it to the celebration, Logan found a way to include them! Like I said, sweetest. groom. ever! The southern style food was delicious, the dance floor was hopping, and the s’mores station was quite the hit! Sparks literally flew as Jessie & Logan ended the night! Fun fact: there were THREE sets of twins in attendance that day. The coordinators, hometown friends of the bride, and the cutest flowers girl you ever did see. Another fun fact, this was the SECOND time I got to photograph those precious flower girls. I’ll take that as a good sign :) Take a look at their photos and leave the couple some love below!
